Re: Water fasting, and cannot walk, stand up, work. Help!
I could be wrong, and please Chrisb or forty can correct me, but if I started refeeding only two days into a fast (and I broke it with cooked food and pasta), I'd continue refeeding for a full two days.
I can't speak for anyone else, but having no food is better than having some food, doing what you did has been very bad for me, on a smaller scale. Refeeding like that makes me dizzy also and makes me feel like blacking out. You just have to wait it out now or start refeeding.
Your weight loss is fairly normal, depends on how much weight you are carrying. After the first few days it evens out.
I always felt being dizzy and blacking out (or close to it) was a detox symptom and that it was my body telling me I should rest. I still get dizzy from time to time when fasting. It passes.
Chewing and spitting out any food or drink (other than water) is a bad idea. You want your digestive system to shut down, so you're not hungry and so that your body has more energy to heal. Putting taste into your mouth jump starts it again. Not to mention any salt, which is terrible on a fast.
You seriously did other small water-only fasts and a 30-day juice fast and are giving into these cravings / urges?
