I think you are allergic to one or several of the herbal ingredients.
If it was me, I would have stopped the treatment immediately, as allergy will not go on it's own by continuing herbs.

Herbs, just like spices, nuts, medications, foods, ... can trigger allergic reactions. Swelling is a very common allergic reaction.
