i generally sip water throughout the day..SIP not gulp,when you gulp and drink mass ammounts at a time-it can have a really bad dehydrating effect because it flushes out the electrolytes,vitamins and minerals out of the system...not good at all.
The problem with fruits is the fructose in them and how it fluctuates the blood sugar...makes you hungry that way,tired and moody

it's either best to fast totally or have some light proteins,raw veggies,salads...
i usually fast totally but always experimenting on what works best.
