When you say that Sugar shuts down the immune system for 8 hours (11 tsps) what exactly do you mean? The immune system is kind of complicated and located in several places and involves more than one type of cell. It certainly isn't good for immunity to overdo sugar, but I was just wondering about what mechanism you are talking about. Thanks.
