Heavy metals/parasites

A whole new area I'm wanting to start learning more about, but I've seen enough bits and pieces of information that Newport has given about parasites/heavy metals going hand in hand..for example "F. Buski fluke/lead" that's just the tip of the iceberg that I want to hear more about, and I have the Clark book and read it, but like Newport mentioned in not minding repeating himself..I can be in a different place, dealing with something different, and reread information I've read before and get it in a whole new light.

Where to begin? Is testing necessary to find out exactly what heavy metals are being dealt with? What kind of testing? Hair analysis etc?

I've read enough on the Iodine forum to actually be scared off from even wanting to begin any of it...does ridding the body of heavy metals go on for some time, (I'm sure if there is re-exposure)...
and is it to be expected that it's going to make you feel like crap?? That's one of the main reasons for my being hesitant.

The parasite cleansing/ Liver Flushing has been quite a journey of itself, and in my own opinion, from my own experience- which everyone is not going to have...would not be one I would tell someone to start into casually.

Same with chelation? I'd rather know honestly...will it be something that's going to hit you like a hammer at times?
