Re: how often do you fast?
Hi there Bella, Love the name.
I would just like to say that its not this cut and dry. Some people whether it be by bloodtype or what have you, do benefit from a big breakfast being the largest meal of the day, then fasting the rest of the day or eating smaller non starchy foods. Just because this is what works well for Chris here, doesn't mean this is what your body is going to do. Chris has found what works for him by what I imagine to be trial and error, and years of finding out.
You will know what works best for you by what doesn't make you feel sleepy after you eat it. Me I am a big breakfast kind of girl. I have candida issues and need my
Iodine eggs in the morning. I eat 4-5 eggs in the am and feel energized. Then its fasting the rest of the day, because I am honestly not hungry, or animal proteins and leafy greens.
I eat oils, nuts, flaxseed, coconut oil, drink tons of green tea, and finally found after years and years of trial and error that this is what works for my body.
I absolutely have to fast once a week, and four long fasts a year. The candida just builds up after too long and starts to poison me.
I can tell like clockwork when its time for a long fast because I don't want to shower in the morning. I don't want to get out of bed. I start gaining weight quickly. I start craving sugars and crap carbs. My hair and nails start thinning and I get real gassy.
I guess I am just a sensitive girl... LOL
But yeah... trial and error baby. Just because this is what works for someone else, does not mean it will work for you.
Find out what does.
Eat whole foods, foods that come that way in nature.
