While milk and dairy products are not, strictly speaking, a natural food for adults, since all animals under totally natural conditions discontinue the use of milk during the weaning period, and while under normal conditions dairy foods are not an essential part of mans nutritional needs, cheese is included in the classification of foods (proteins) to indicate how it may be properly combined. This presupposes that the product will have been made from clean raw and unpasteurized milk, without adulteration or preservatives .
