Re: Parasites active at night, looking for food?
Hello:
"Would one larger dose at night hit them better than several smaller doses through the day? Just a "wonder"."
Good question.... I'm trying to remember if I've done that (sure I have) and what the results were for me. Hmmm.... I don't think I found anything significant. I wouldn't necessarily say that replacing a large dose with smaller dosages would be any better. It makes more sense to me to do the smaller dosages and at night a larger one.
You make an interesting point about the full moon. When I worked at the hospital everyone in the ER and on the wards dreaded when the full moon came around. People acted strangely or weird things would happen. Animals, tides, and other things are affected by the full moon so why not parasites?
There were 3 things that I did that would quiet them down around the full moon and I didn't have much trouble from them. Give them what they like... sugary foods or something sticky like oatmeal. I found that they were less likely to bother me when I did this. The other option was to eat a bowl of pineapple an hour or two before going to bed. Pineapple seemed to slow their activities down considerably. My other option was that I slept with herbs in my mouth like garlic capsules, fennel or cloves (this prevented them from coming up the esophagus). I experimented enough with this and it worked for me. I have no idea how it would work for others.
"Here's what you said:
>>>>>>>>This would make sense because this is when the critters are the most active looking for food. Someone shared with me that an experiment was done in India. A person was given a drink (assuming barium) and watched the parasites become very active searching for food between 12-3AM.>>>>>>"
Right, this information came from a knowledgeable person during a time when I wrote people around the world about parasites. I was having a difficult time sleeping and they shared this information with me.
