Re: Repair of digestive tract

Lots of great advice already here bling, most of which I agree with if not all. I will add that Shelton says that after seven days the intestines are sterile so this would be a good starting point to repair any digestive problems.

Also seriously consider what has been said about food combining. Try and find copies of the old Fit for Life books if you can or look up recipes on the net. You may be surprised to find that you can replace some of your favourite recipes with just a few changes, and find some yummy new ones your family will be just as happy with. Also if you can throw out the time honoured toast-and-breakfast cereal breakfast and replace it with fruit you will be giving your body a huge extra chance to put things right each day before handing out it's next load of major digestive tasks.

Try not to be over concerned about the weight loss. Be strong about what you are doing for yourself. If you feel it is the right thing then you will be able to show that to the people around you who are worried about you getting too skinny while fasting and then they will be well and truly reassured when they see how your health improves from it. Don't try to hide it or be ashamed of it if you can help it, that will just make those who are close enough to you to read that to worry even more. You know you are doing the right thing for yourself, be confident of that and let that show when confronted about it.

Good luck,

Andrew.
