Repair of digestive tract

I asked this question as part of another post but thought it would be better asked seperately.

How long do you think it would take to repair the digestive tract?

I'm thinking of giving it another try tomorrow. How much repair work would get done in 5-7 days say. I'm only about 8lb overweight now, so i believe the healing would take place quicker in someone not very overweight.

As i've said previously, i'm a bit worried about refeeding, as even after few days i had some digestive discomfort. Tweet
