Re: To Tom
Hello Bruce,
And here I thought it was you and owed me a dinner...
Oh well, perhaps we will have to have two dinners. I will cover one and you can cover the other.
To answer your questions:
Yes you sent me a 5% addition rate table.
I don't believe I have the product usage document. Please send it to me.
I have dip sticks for free ClO2 and for free CL2. I don't have any for total Cl2.
I am actually working with a 3 PPM dose, but am always happy to try something new.
I can find
citric acid . I have done all of my testing, so far, with lemon and lime juice from ReaLemon and ReaLime squeeze bottles. I figured that once I learned what ASC was all about, I could then branch out to explore other activators. I think I have a very good understanding of how lemon and lime juice work as an activator, so perhaps it is time to move on to
citric acid . I have also done a few mixtures with apple cider vinegar as the activator, but not enough to draw any conclusions on its use.
I don't like your answers... [smile icon]
I checked with LaMotte, the manufacturer of the test strips that I am using, and they tell me the strips that I am using do read free ClO2.
Your test strips may not be able to read free ClO2, but mine do.
I did ask about checking a solution of juice, and they told me that they have not done any testing on that, and don't plan to do any testing on that. They recommended checking the solution with water, rather than juice, added to determine the free ClO2.
When I mixed up my solution, I ended up with a PH of between 3 and 4. The solution had a very slight yellow tint to it.
Here is a picture I posted showing the colors of various PPM solutions that I was able to mix up.
I am usually ending up with a color that falls between the 1 PPM and 5 PPM solutions.
I have read those studies. All I can say is "poor monkeys." I can't tolerate a 10 PPM solution. I can't imagine going a couple of months at the extreme high concentrations they were using for the study. I don't think that even the "Teflon lined" stomachs of some of the people using
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement could stand a 400 PPM solution.
I find that I notice a 3 PPM solution (as measured with my free ClO2 test strips), a 1 PPM solution is basically no different tasting than water, and at 5 PPM I think it is very strong.
I am very surprised that the monkeys only showed a slight decrease in red cell count and hemoglobin.
