Re: My Two Cents On the "End Times"
Exactly - Christianity itself has been infiltrated at the highest levels by ruling elite. The idea that we should all sit in our rooms, pray and do nothing "in the world" makes it so much easier for those doing evil to be unapposed. As Godspeak points out, God did not give our abilities to do nothing with them while evil people destroy our fellow man.
There are good people and bad people in this world, just like the immune systems own red and white blood cells. When the balance is off, the body gets sick and dies.
If you think about what the evil, murderous, theiving people of this world would like more than anything, it would be for the good people (who are their normal opposition) to roll over and do nothing. Ammend their dogma to tell them to let the bad people do whatever they want and leave it to God to deal with them.
I think if you look back in your life, you'll see that God has rewarded you far more for your actions than your thoughts. What God's world needs RIGHT NOW is more Christian Acts and fewer Christian navel gazers and dogma spouters.
At the end of your life would you rather be one of those people that did Gods works on this planet and didn't stop until your last breath? Or will you be more proud by steeping yourself in dogma and living passively with the concept that God will take care of what he wants to take care of. And which of those two behaviours do you think will more likely attract God's grace?
Your attitude is like the joke where the Priest and Rabbi discuss how much of the money they decide to give back to God (for altruistic uses). The priest says he draws a circle, and after throwing the money in the air keeps anything that lands outside the circle. The Rabbi said "we throw the whole collection up in the air, and what God wants he takes".
You seem to take the Rabbi's approach.
