Molly, I thank you deeply for your words of wisdom! Every one of them rang true! My best friend in the world is coming to spend the weekend with me and we'll take your advice about having a few drinks and laughs over the Foot Freak. My pal knows the whole story; always thought I was WAY too good for him; and was very supportive when I had to dump him. I'm SO looking forward to her visit; should be a wang-dang doodle of a time!

There are an awful lot of frogs out there, which makes dating mostly a pain in the ass. I was seeing someone a few months ago; he was good-looking, successful, treated me great. But he became clingy and possessive VERY quickly and it made me run, I mean RUN for the hills! So, dear Molly, you are correct ... I'm seeing those red flags very early on now and know when to exit stage left!! But it gets discouraging; I tend to be somewhat introverted anyway and besides, I have two teenage kids who take up most of my time. So I have lots of love in my life. And, you know ... even though the experience with Foot Freak was SO painful, it is really pretty humorous, too. Does that make sense? Sometimes when I think about it, I just start giggling. It makes a damned good funny story!
