"Virgin" or living breathing human being?

Right from the start, I avoided this thread because it's about something I'll never understand (that any woman should sum up everything she is as being a "VIRGIN",... that the state of "virginity" is encouraged as though it should be her pride).

Though the ancient civilizations (even in scripture) placed a higher status on women for being a "virgin", it has always been a very condescending and demeaning attitude towards the humanity of women,...as though she is more of a person if she is a virgin (would she be even more of a person if she also never KISSED?).

In the last 15 years, it has become popular for young girls to make a 'pledge of virginity'. They say that they are going to save/preserve THEMSELVES (meaning EVERYTHING that they are) for their husbands. They don't say that they are going to save 'PART' of what they are (long flowing hair, clear complexion, etc.), they are going to save their whole SELF (if they manage to successfully fight off every horny Don Juan MALE that they ever come into contact with that tries to "trick" or entice them into bed). Well, it is of course very politically incorrect of me to point out that roughly 99.9% of the male population consists of "Don Juans", perverts, or some other version of horniness, but aside from this miracle that is required of women so that the male world can use them as scapegoats for their conscience and lack of character, this 'restoration' to an acceptable state of the female body is not only characteristic of the dehumanizing attitudes that humanity has towards each other, but also of the low self-esteem we don't mind inflicting on each other.

Humanity (whether inadvertently/carelessly, or intentionally) has always been misled/confused by the god of confusion and our "natural limitations" (Romans 6:19) by being encouraged to remove/deny a complete realization of SELF and label ourselves and each other as a 'thing'/virgin, etc. ("self abasement").

It is not all of the protocols and rituals of behavior that make a person Godly/holy, it is the movements of the heart when the mind has been used to transform a person into a new creation and has adopted the "rivers of living water" (tears of sorrow/genuine compassion) that were mixed with Christ's blood at the cross.

It is only through a true realization of SELF that we can have anything to offer The Lord (including true love/PERSONal devotion), not by reducing who we are ("I am who I am") to a CATEGORY ("virgin", etc.).

All throughout history, mankind has chosen to replace all 3 acts of God's grace to humanity with the teachings, protocols/rituals of behavior of the sixth day creation, and reduce the creation made in God's image to 'categories' instead of living, breathing souls.

An individual can choose the option of viewing their own virginity as a personal accomplishment, but if a husband will be so demeaning as to make it a requirement for a LOVE relationship, the marriage will be a 'divorce waiting to happen'.

I realize divorce has been popularly accepted because Moses was allowed to grant certificates of divorce,...but The Lord also said "I HATE divorce" (but it seems obvious that humanity doesn't care about The Lord's likes and dislikes).
