Oh, OK. Well then I can tell that there's no other kinds of hearing problems being outlined in that book, just only deafness. I feel that the term 'deafness' in that book should be renamed to the 'hearing loss' occurred in life after birth (like when a child gets an ear infection (otitis) and gets hearing loss in one ear or both, or an adult person who experiences partial hearing loss later in life).
