Re: Fluoride is ubiquitous
"Does Moreless Alkalizing Drink contain the Calcium a person needs...would they need to drink one everyday, would every other day be of benefit???"
The better foods you can find and eat, the less of this protocol you will need. The protocol helps greatly with the calcium... the BSM, Lemon, and kelp all have calcium in addition to the limewater. The limewater, in and of itself, is NOT a great calcium supplement, however the action of the limewater on the calcium and other minerals in the whole mix, makes it all more bioavailable to the body. It also serves to help greatly with pH. If you study reef aquariums, you will note that limewater is a poor choice to boost calcium levels as the pH will go up too high before desired calcium levels are reached.
The acids along with the alkaline minerals and carbons in the drink work together in a synergy that is hard to beat for the price... there are calcium supplements sold in japan and here in the U.S. by Lane Labs (the most popular calcium supplements in Japan), that use calcium hydroxide, and other forms of calcium along with weak acids, and cost over $40 a bottle.
This is better and much closer to a natural product than those pills will ever be.
But I digress, back on foods - Finding good foods can get expensive. I work hard on my diet and still feel better supplementing with the drink; 1 a day in divided doses. If I am real good about taking a green foods product I like at least twice a day, I find I need the drink less... However, the green drink can cost me 10 times the price of the Alkalizing drink and that is the point.
For those on tight a budget, or those that would rather save their money, this is a much more cost effective way to go.
Different people have different needs... it is not a one size fits all. The drink recipe is a starting point; customize it for yourself from there, based upon how you feel and your symptoms. You may need to play with the drink a bit and the dosing. If you have highs and lows throughout the day, begin sipping the drink when you feel a low coming on...
If you do not take the drink now, I would start with the switchel... the BSM and lemon juice in water. Then add a bit of
Epsom Salts and kelp after you become used to the switchel and mixing it to your needs as your needs become more evident... then the limewater, just enough to buffer the taste of the lemon juice, but not enough to make it chalky tasting.
If the tablespoonful of kelp is too much to take in the drink, try lesser amounts... I hardly notice a teaspoon of kelp in the drink.
Then over time, adjust it to your needs based upon how you feel, skin, nail, energy symptoms etc.
I do better with more BSM and kelp with matching limewater and lemon, you may have a different need.
I hope this post helps...
