No, they are not... they have been here on this earth since the beginning of time, they are nothing to fear. Sure, they become more reactive through man's meddling and believing he is a god in manipulating them; this then is the problem.

Ensuring good nutrition including attention to minerals like calcium, magnesium, sulfur, etc. should ameliorate the problem for most... unless there is a known or suspected mineral deficiency of some kind.

You point out BSM, which is a rich source of absorbable nutrients...

If people are uncomfortable with ingesting "rock" based minerals (most eat mined salt, and supplements of some sort, so I do not understand this problem), and\or BSM, a good long soak in the "rock" salts like ES, along with a gallon of limewater, and some h2o2, may do them some good :-)
