We can agree to disagree on this one, 908. When the farmers I buy directly from assure me that they care for their animals properly, I believe them as I see the animals being well taken care of. My guess is that it's the puppy we got over the summer -- Occam's Razor tells me that the simplest answer is usually the best, and I have not had this problem in years of buying milk/eggs/meat, so it stacks up for me just fine.

I think I posted on OP and one other forum in response to your post there, FYI. My recollection is that the original post there was posted on 3 forums, so it probably went up there, too. I haven't counted.
