Read Yeast Rice
The pharmaceuticals are a monster that needs to be controlled but it is too
easy to blame them for every little problem that comes along.
Red Yeast Rice is also a 'natural' extract that has been used for thousands
of years (just like oleander soup) and the pharmaceuticals took the ingredients
of that - and got a patent on it. I have used it until recently when the
FDA went after any Red Yeast Rice seller they could find and ordered them to
stop selling it based on the fact it has the same ingredient as the patented
stuff - which is making billions for the pharmas. (The FDA is currently
lab testing all Red Yeast Rice, one seller at a time.) If oleander really
works, the pharmaceuticals could do the same thing. (The soup is no
different than the Red Yeast Rice. It is a processed natural product.)
I've read more than once that pharmaceuticals are looking at Third World
countries - particularly the rain forests, for folk remedies tied to plants that
they can exploit in the same way that they exploit Red Yeast Rice. If
oleander had something to offer, then they would go for it and patent it.
Nothing stopping them and the FDA will protect them at the same time.
Someone, not a pharmaceutical, has copyrighted the word Essiac, and it isn't
even anyone associated with its discovery. As I search and look more and
more I'm finding that herb companies are obviously being told to stop selling
"Essiac" because of the copyright. It is becoming harder and
harder to find Essiac so I keep the formula and buy the pieces.
I don't buy your argument. It is a paranoia conspiracy argument that
has flooded the world since the introduction of the Internet.
