Convinced, maybe, but certainly there is not any scientific evidence to prove this. There is no proof that something else did not independently kill this cancer before, during, or even after the radiation therapy. There is no proof that radiation was the only effect at work or even that the radiation worked at all. This is anecdotal at best.

For one thing, lack of profitability. The first thing that a pharmaceutical company does before even starting to investigate is to evaluate whether or not a profit can be recovered. If it can not or is not likely, they drop it like a hot potato.

Yes, I was aware that you were slighting Tony. But again, I strongly disagree with your stance. If nothing else, there is significant scientific evidence that Oleander does have anti-tumor properties and this is supported by such renowned cancer institutions as M.D. Anderson and Sloan Ketering. The ACS is the most negative group in the world in regards to any alternative and nutritional therapies. According to the NIH, "Both Anvirzel and Oleandrin were able to induce cell killing in human cancer cells,".

Science, yes, but I have not seen the ACS run one single unbiased study using a natural substance. It is easy to tilt the results of any study by using less than effective dosages, improper control group management, etc.

I certainly know the value of a well run scientific study and am experienced in this. I have cultured tumor cells in the lab as far back as the 1970's and know that there are many things that they are sensitive to.

If you have any doubt about the efficacy of natural substances in treating cancer then you should visit the AICR. They publish the results of hundreds of studies every year and only test natural and nutritional therapies.

Also, visit the Life Extension Foundation. They also study many alternative and nutritional suppliments and publish this scientific data.

So, you see, the ACS is hiding the truth and promoting bias. The extent of their effort is embarasing to say the least. I personally am ashamed that I was so ignorant as to support them until a couple of years ago.

Since the approval process takes 5 to 10 years and since they only started in 2005, I wonder why.
