Re: I'm all ears...

I am all ears, and already shocked, so let me have it~!

It seems for years I have reminded myself and my
family that THESE are the "good times". After reading
your post this morning, perhaps its time to begin
to acknowledge that the good times may be over.

Still, there are plenty of moments when I find
reason to be thankful and do appreciate my life.
I refuse however to give up my search for
inspiration and ways to improve my life and the
ways I interact with others. Certainly faith is
a wellspring of comfort, and love, and so while
the slope seems to have become slippery, like
Sisyphus, I am unwilling to stop working to be a
part of the healing this country needs.

Here is a quote from Helen Keller that sums up
my feelings pretty well~~

"I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do
everything, but still I can do something. And
because I cannot do everything I will not refuse
to do the something that I can do.”
