The Bible was written by a bunch of zealots thousands of years ago. Many people today find it hard to relate to. As a historical document it has merit, but when you read lessions like Lot offering his virgin daughters to a angry mob and them getting drunk being seduced by them, it is time to rethink the divinity aspect and take it all with a grain of salt.
