Re: The Bible: why don't people believe in it?

I must respectfully disagree with your understanding of what is being said by Sylvia brown and others like her. The bible (THE TRUE WORD OF GOD) plainly says in ECC.9:5 & :10 and other places, that the dead know nothing,they do not comunicate with the living.
GOD says the dead do not speak,Sylvia and others say they talk to the dead. Now I ask you, searously whom are you going to believe,GOD or Sylvia? I hope you realize this is a no brainer. Granted Sylvia and others like her are talking to spirits, but not the ones they think they are talking to. The bible has many examples,showing that man is not to try and comunicate with the spirits.
