Re: MMS+Far IR sauna+Fasting?
"I sweat in the tanning bed and feel that both of these are a very good complement to MMS. It helps with letting the skin do a lot of the elimination of toxins. "
Any elimination of sweat would help I assume.
The difference between the tanning bet, or other sources of heat is that they only apply ambient heat whereas the IR heat penetrates the body tissues to mobilize the toxins in the fat cells where most toxins are dumped that cannot be exited from the body in the normal manner.

Infrared Saunas: The Heath Benefits
You've probably used a sauna at your fitness club or spa.
But did you know that a series of 30-minute sessions in a Soft Heat Home Sauna does some wonderful things for the' body?
- The profuse sweating coupled with the increased heart rate from an infrared sauna session causes the body to burn 300 - 600 metabolic calories of energy in 30 minutes. This is equivalent of running several kilometers.
- Daily use can burn over 100,000 calories per year. At 3,500 calories per pound of weight this could result in weight loss of over 30 pounds per year, all other things being equal.
- The deep heat penetration increases blood circulation and softens collagen tissue. This decreases joint stiffness, relieves muscle spasms and reduces inflammation. This also reduces blood pressure.
- The resulting increase in heart rate provides an impact-free cardiovascular workout.
- The sessions relieve stress, aches, pains and stiffness. An infrared sauna session is a perfect way to warm up muscles before massage therapy, before a workout or to deal with post-exercise muscle pain.
- A heat therapy session detoxifies the body, eliminating heavy metals and other toxins from the fatty tissue where they are stored.
- The deep heat penetration unclogs pores of cosmetics creating a skin texture and tone of unexcelled quality. The deep heat also reduces cellulite because body fat becomes water soluble at 110F and may be excreted with the sweat
- The health benefits of heat therapy are well documented. It is used to treat fibromyalgia, arthritis pain, low back pain, and disc protrusion-related neuralgia, bursitis and shoulder pain, and post exercise muscle pain. Infrared saunas are also being used in Europe in the treatment of cancer.
- In case you are wondering, infrared heat is so safe it is used in hospitals to warm premature babies.
