zoe, you give too much credit to bush.

Bush isn't that bright enough to have all the voting machines aligned in his favor. Please don't fall for that garbage...it's...embarassing. Bush is ambitious and well-meaning. He's not diabolically brilliant, which is what it would take to do what you speak of. Very, very, very few men in America could accomplish that crime. And all of them are smart enough to not run for office.
