What Blood Type A should eat

I don't have the book sitting next to me, but generally Type As should stick to vegetables, fruits, and certain grains. Meat is taboo, and only small quantities of chicken and fish are allowed, and NO seafood or shellfish. No dairy products are allowed, except mozzarella cheese, I think, and an occasional egg. Most vegetables are allowed except tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, eggplant, and peppers of all kinds. Most fruits are allowed except for bananas, mangos (I think), oranges, tangerines, and a few other more exotic fruits. Wheat is taboo but oats, rice, buckwheat, kamut, millet, quinoa, etc. are allowed. Olive oil and flax seed oil are beneficial. Peanuts and walnuts are considered very beneficial but supposedly almonds are neutral and cashews and other nuts are bad.
Although your diet does not seem to follow the above, it sounds like you are doing great anyway. I have followed the Blood Type A diet since December and haven't found that it has made any appreciable difference in my well being or weight.
