I gave up meat because of this diet and it was the best thing I ever did. (Tho I still eat a little shrimp/fish) Like most type A's, I was making way too much mucous and going meatless/dairyless helped a lot!

I do eat certain grains on occasion though and have no problems.

He suggests that taking sulfa drugs was ok for Type A's. However I had an extreme reaction to sulfa drugs. So as with all things, you have to experiment a little and find what does and does not work for you. Over all, I think it is a pretty good diet.
