I had no idea that this was on the insert. I scanned over the "possible side effects" like I would any other medication but that was over 2 yrs ago and my doctor outright disagreed with this theory even though it's right on the "Physician Perscribing Information" sheet. It says in 5% of women using this IUD this is one of the most common side effects. I can't believe he disagreed...Unbelievable! I'm taking this with me when I get the IUD removed next Wednesday. This definitely made my decision to have this toxic IUD removed. Thank you so much for this information! It's one thing to have a theory but it's another when you actually have the facts on paper. I cannot thank you enough; now I know I'm not crazy. I wonder if once it's removed if my pap smear may go back to normal healthy cells on it's own....I'm hoping to avoid another LEEP. Eek!
