Re: More mite and acne talk.

Well the mites can cause all kinds of skin problems. The demodex solutions web site has some examples of what they look like for some people but I dont think you can rule mites out in a case like yours, even if it didnt look like the pictures.

Your Acne sounds a lot like mine though, and I strongly suspect mites do play a role, even if they arent the total cause {a weak immune system obviously has to play a big part of it, otherwise mites couldnt take over in the first place}. My Acne before was basically as few different types of things.

Either It would start out as an incredibly painful, hard whitehead, that would last a long time and be impossible to pop or get rid of {it would turn into an open absess type thing and even if drained it would repeatedly get pussy again}. Also, I would get these cysts that would pop up deep in the skin and would also hurt very badly and take weeks if not more to go away.

When you say you used the cream for a month and saw no difference, do you mean nothing at all happened or that it got worse? Because its supposed to get worse at first when killing the mites. Ive been working on killing the crap out of them for almost two weeks now, and the first week was HELL. I mean hell. It hurt to speak and I felt so ashamed in public. Now its a tiny bit better than it was. I feel if the cold cream and butt cream were simply "clogging my pores" my skin would be getting worse not slowly better. I think its killing off the first layer of mites. And my zz cream barely arrived today so I think that what Ive done with the over the counter creams might be a good "pre-kill" for the mites as well.

Anyways what Im getting at is its supposed to take a LONG time for doing a mite kill to actually show improvements in your skin. SO I dont know if one month was a long enough time to stop working on them.

If I were you Id try doing a test with the ponds cold cream. Try applying it for a week or so and see how your skin reacts. If you start having MAJOR skin issues then its a good sign the mites are dying off and they are causing your problem.

Its worth a shot! Oh yeah and PS, I also have a very itchy scalp problem, My hair has thinned in the past year or so a lot, and I have gross itchy zits all over my scalp too. Im going to start on my face and if I have skin improvements, Im tackling my scalp next.
