A conspiracy of silence? Step on up mystery voter!

It might just be my imagination or wild conspiracy theory, but it surely seems like "someone" drops bye, or lurks on, this forum every so often who has a habit of casting negative votes without offering any supporting opinion or debate.

That is fine, it is anyone's right to do so.  But I might suggest that this is a "debate" forum and not merly a "voting station" and so it would be much more effective to validate such votes with an opposing view or opinion.

While I cannot speak for others, it would also make me have much higher regard for whoever it is that likes to leave their negative marks without bothering to explain or defend them.

In my humble opinion, debates, like elections, should best be determined by discussion of the issues and not by how many yard signs, pro or con, one counts in the neighborhood's yards.

As I say, just my humble "opinion", but I would be quite happy to "debate" and defend it.

Edit:  And surely enough, no sooner did I make this post, a negative vote appeared!  LOL!  Must be one of those dang voting machines we've heard about.  And we KNOW who controls those, don't we.

A question that might explain much: does anyone know whether or not a person who has been banned from posting in a forum due to past miscreant behavior is still allowed to view AND VOTE ON messages?

Ah well, at any rate, HAPPY THANKSGIVING, MYSTERY VOTER"
