DQ - as usual you nailed it. Just as the 20th century had no precedent on the scale of genocide, atrocity, mass murder and carnage, the 21st century will be EXPONENTIALLY worse.

Why? The more powerful the prevailing level of technology (weaponry, communications, etc), the larger the scale and greater ease of control and enslavement of the masses by the elite. And the level of technology is clearly exponentially greater than the days of WWII, and the purges of Mao, Stalin, etc.

Throughout the 20th century the elites have had more than enough technology to enslave the 3rd world and keep a majority of the planet as a giant miserable low wage slave plantation. But the technology today is well beyond what's needed for complete world control, world wide slavery and single government tyranny (I mean rule).

Be prepared for evil and horrors in this century that weren't imaginable in our worst nightmares, just as the evils and horrors of WWII weren't imaginable to those living before it.

Though most world religions prophecize this, it's really not that hard to see coming with a basic understanding of human nature. Namely that greed and lust for power in human nature is limitless, voracious and primal, whereas the will or instinct for the greater good and survival of humanity has always been weak and abstract at best.

It's in the Bible, Vedas, Koran, and most other sacred texts. But more significantly its in our genes. Hubris made and remade the human race and hubris will destroy it. Too bad we and our children are going to be the ones to watch and suffer it all. Tweet
