Yep, you're right. Viet Nam was also about shifting tides of power in the world's drug trade that simultaneously introducing a newly fabricated additions to American culture. State-sponsored purple haze washed across this country leaving in it's wake many a brain believing it had incurred it's own spontaneous "rebellion", and the American institution of family got cut down another notch. Some GI's never came back, some came back in body bags, and some came back alive - at least in some part physically, and the institution of American family got cut down another notch or three. Tweet
