Cloves are complicated; my SCIO tests can show me wanting cloves for two reasons. One as a remedy against parasite eggs and second as a stimulator for bile production…

Cloves in TCM are contraindicated for stone disease, because a plugged bile duct doesn’t need more back pressure but requires clearing the obstruction.

However, obstruction can be stone in gallbladder, collection of smaller stones, Dwarf Tape worm, Human Liver Fluke or scarring, or any combination of the above.

Cloves can also be indicated when your bile is being eaten away by a massive infestation of the Dwarf Tapeworm and/or Human Liver Fluke.

Difficult call but in either, blockage or infestation, more bile isn't the solution…
