I grew up being a very sickly child. Fevers and bouts of staying at home from school for weeks on end lying in bed. I had pernicious anemia. My mother had no clue what was wrong with me, no one did. By the time I was 16 my dad said I should see a psychiatrist because all I wanted to do was sit and stare. I had no energy to do anything. In my early 20's I collapsed and was in the hospital for weeks. They killed my thyroid so they could regulate my hormones. They told me I simply had no will to live.

Throughout the rest of my life I just kinda floated along, day by day. I couldn't remember what happened from one year of my life to another. I am about to turn 65 next month.
