Re: Martial Law (edited)
A healthy degree of skepticism/cynicism is always wise, especially when long, enthusiastic/emotional and outrageous posts are written (and no CLAIM made).
Complete paragraphs of capital lettrs is very emotional and meant to stir emotions in the reader. Coupled with exceedingly long (5000 words and such) posts are meant to have an almost hypnotic effect.
'SIMPLY presenting information' (so called 'facts') without 'making' a point (a CLAIM) is a tactic in itself (giving the reader enough rope to hang themselves while being able to 'disclaim' responsibility for the result...they want to be able to walk away and say "don't blame me, I didn't hang that person").
"Unconventional" scandalous/harmful information about a scheme against the public is more than likely true (political conspiracy), but certainly one on such a massive scale that surpasses Bush and and all his fellow criminals/politicians doesn't make sense.
The more outrageous a story, the more likely it is that the masses will want to believe it (and won't want to refute it) because it validates the masses as victims.
The most unbelievably effective (meant to be irrefutable) propaganda is 'audacity'.
