My daughter was diagnosed with this and it was obvious that she was afflicted. She'd wake up after only a short period and howl at the top of her lungs. I switched to formula (Carnation Good Start) and she did a little better on that. But the biggest improvement came when we began placing her on her stomach to sleep. We watched her like a hawk of course, due to fears of SIDS, and then we bought an angel care monitor which she slept on and which gave us some rest.
Then we she had aged a couple of months and her digestive tract was more mature, we put her back on her back for sleeping and she never experienced reflux again.
She was born at 35 weeks gestation, spent 9 days in NICU, and shortly after we brought her home was diagnosed with Reflux.
