It is probably the worst advice a doctor can give to take glucose tablets. This can only aggravate the problem, because the real problem is Sugar absorption. If you have insulin resistance (hypoglycemia) the body does not utilize the sugars properly and is therefore not used in energy production. This can lead to Sugar cravings.

If you score high you are likely to have hypoglycemia. In that case a hypoglycemic diet (low in glucose) is the best treatment.
