Re: Mike...

That is great advice -

Personally I eat heavy stews soups with beef, fish, lamb and plenty of root vegetables, rice, healthy fats. This is what I crave for.

When I crave something sweet (quite often) I try not to eat any processed Sugar of course but also try to stay away from eating fruits on an empty stomach. Although very healthy, the Sugar content can trigger hyopglycemia.
So when I eat fruits I eat them with a bit of protein like peanut or almond butter.
Or I can have a sweet potato or even be creative and add some stevia to sweeten it.

The only advice I would give is to increase the digestive fire specially with stomach acid aid (betaine HCl) and digestive enzymes (with protease) with every meal.

Hypoglycemia may be triggered by a lack of available aminoacids due to weak protein metabolism (low stomach acid).

Aminoacids are required to regulate blood Sugar since they are the raw materials of every hormone.
