Re: Why have any iodine forums?

The Iodine forums are not addressing deficiencies in iodine. The body only needs about a teaspoon in a lifetime. Iodine therapy is much more than balance.

Since the 1800s, Iodine has been used for healing. That was long before any RDA was established. The RDA is out of balance anyway. Why would we be out of balance with the other halogens? Each one of them is causing terrible health problems and needs to be rebalanced. You cannot do that with 150mcg daily of iodine. Iodine was removed from bread and milk; because of paranoia. Much like I'm hearing here. At least Australia has the sense enough to add it back to bread after so many years. This deprivation has caused the imbalance.

Going beyond balance, iodine has been studied for many more ailments in human and animal. Hopefully, your naturapathic studies will take you into that history.

Iodine deserves its individual attention as does magnesium, which is also a forum on CZ
