Re: why do you take iodine?

Hey Trappey, I started because of FBD, with a definate diagnosis. I hoped to get rid of it and perhaps spare myself Breast Cancer someday.

I continue because of the smooth energy it gives me. I paint and ingest. When I paint first thing when I get up, within minutes I am fully awake and alert and ready to go. Much better than coffee, which I gave up years ago. This alone is worth the effort and I do it everyday except Saturday. I do not tire at all no matter how hard or long I work. I go to bed because it's time to go to bed, not because I am tired. I am sleeping a lot better now after years of severe insomnia.

Plus after a couple of months, the fibroids are just about gone, melting melting. Today I had a rare cup of coffee, I know I know, bad bad girl, so sue me. But, my breasts did not hurt at all afterwards, which they always used to do. The fibroids aren't gone, but they are much much less and I will continue on the Iodine for sure. I keep feeling myself up on the breasts these days, which is weird I know, but I just like to remind myself how good my breasts feel. Okay, no comments on this please!

I had what I thought to be a fatty tumor on my thigh almost 2 inches across. I painted some on that for a few days until the area got very red. It stayed red for weeks even when I stopped painting it. It has decreased in size significantly and now has a real defined shape to it, making me think this might have been a pork worm or some other creature that I believe is now dead but my body still needs to work on getting rid of it internally. Since the redness is gone, I have started to paint it again. I think I can actually get rid of this thing, although I think it's going to take another 6 months. I am currently doing a Humaworm parasite cleanse also, which was a really good idea for me!

Although my thyroid tests have all been "normal", I had a low temp and looking at myself in the mirror, I thought I had a slight goiterish look. This has gone away and my neck has slimmed down and looks very nice now. Well, I think so anyway.

I am really enjoying my adventurous and cohesive dreams. They are like watching/being in a movie like they were when I was a kid.

I am working more, and exercising more, have clearer problem solving skills, and am generally quite cheerful all the time, no matter how much crap people throw at me, which is considerable.

The only side effect I have noticed was a bit of a runny nose that then went into just wet nasal passages but I haven't even noticed this lately.

This is such a simple and cheap way to improve health. I won't be without it again. I'm quite grateful to curezone for all the info here on this and am especially grateful to Prism for posting at rawfoods.com about iodine, which is what lead me to curezone. Thanks Prism, you are a peach, and you should know that you at least got to one person by posting over at Raw Foods. And of course to Trappey, Wombat et at for the info and courageous experiments and search for better health they do.

I was taking 5 gtts Lugol's 5%, but have cut down to 3 or 4 gtts while on Humaworm internally. Sometimes I take it all at once, sometimes I break it into 2 doses, depends on my work schedule. I use some local drugstore brand to paint on a fist sized circle somewhere on my abdomen. I change the site daily because if I use it 2 or 3 days in a row on one spot, I will get red bumps. When I get done with Humaworm, I'll start upping my dosage of Iodine gradually; how far up, I'm not sure.

I am taking a bunch of Standard Process Whole Food Supplements but have been able to gradually decrease these since I started on them in June. I take a few vitamins and other supplements besides these, but am eliminating most of them one by one as my muscle testing gets better and better. The only thing I think I need to add now is selenium, which I wouldn't have thought to do unless I read your posts here, which I just keep forgetting to buy, but I will very soon. I am on a high raw food diet, which has been very good for me, I dropped 20 pounds pretty fast and feel much better on it. I eat lots of coconuts and am now using coconut oil on my skin with good results.

My health has improved dramatically this year since starting on these things and Iodine has been the most recent addition to my program (besides Humaworm for 13 days now), and I think has made a big difference. I am gradually eliminating toxins from my environment one by one. Seems like many of us are on a quest, no? I just ordered the Sears water distiller when it was on sale because you all have me freaked out over drinking the distilled or spring water from plastic bottles. Boy has my life changed this year.

Okay, you asked what made us start on Iodine and I've given a lot more information than you asked for, but my real answer to your question is, fibroid breast disease, and it's working on that but with a lot of side benefits I did not at first expect. And, if not for these side benefits that I saw immediately, I may not have stayed the course with Iodine for the FBD to see any benefits for that.

I'm quite happy with the stuff myself.
