Tsk, tsk, tsk...
Well let's see now PVG, you must have known when you posted this here that you were touching a little golden calf - - - - which is of course precisely why you posted it.
Hmmmmmm..it's one thing to talk about conspiracies in every aspect of our living, breathing life, and yet another to question the origins of what's considered by many to be a sweet and inspiring movie for children, right?
And now perhaps by doing this you may have drawn that fine line of acceptance by your
Conspiracy seeking peers. Why, you fanatic you. You expect us to join you in this nitpicking effort to slander even the most innocent of all things? Aren't you going waaay too far, are you saying nothing is sacred anymore???!!
Well I myself saw this movie, not at some theatre but in a classroom. You see I was taking a course in Bible prophecy from a rather unusual angle. The course was taught by a highly well educated and brilliant man from a foreign nation with knowlege and insights far from what you get in the usual fare of Bible courses. As part of his background, this dark, handsome, fascinating and erudite man told us how from his very birth he had been offfered and initiated into deep occultic rituals by his father. He not only had to delve into vast occultic volumes as part of his education, but he had also moved freely around many occultic practices as well. His father had been a very rich and influential man in his country, and he (the son) was to inherit this position of spiritual and political power later on in life. Ah, but what a great disappointment he turned out to be. It happened that as this man was growing up he became deeply dissatisfied with life, and at one point, (to make this story short)he had
Depression so deep that, of course you knew it, he contemplated suicide. It was at this venture that he had a life-saving, born again experience with Jesus Christ.
Forward to many years later, he has become a foremost Bible teacher in the part of the world where he still lives most of the time. One of the things he likes to do is to challenge and cause many to think what and why it is they are beliving when compared to the original Hebrew significance and context into which Scriptures were written.
One night, we walked into a darkened room and he told us there would be no class tonight. We were going to simply view a film. The film was The Chronicles of Narnia. He made no comment and simply allowed us to watch the film without interruptions. At the end of the viewing he simply asked us each to give our impressions of the movie. (It was a long class that night!) After the majority of the class gushed about what a sweet and Christian movie this was, he simply looked on with a smile and waited for all to finish. Then he said, "let me tell you what this whole movie was about".
He proceeded to tell us practically scene by scene, flashing back to stills, every deliberately included occultic message and symbol either blatantly flashed or imbedded in the film. He went on to explain that some scenes were so obvious that every truly initiated occultist knew perfectly well what was being portrayed, and only the naive and conditioned masses would fail to grasp the hidden significance. For the latter would simply do what most in the class had done, overlook the questionable and concentrate on what appeared to be genuine, well meaning symbolic xtianity. (yes, I know how I spelled that!)
The deep tragedy he said, was that most people were so misinformed about their own faith that you could pull a counterfeit and they wouldn't know it. He warned his listeners than unless they learned to discern auhenticity from forgery, we would be unable to distinguish anything else from the onslaught that had been planned for us. He was challenged by some in the class who had become offended and went on to say that they still thought it was a great movie for children and how they couldn't believe that all he had been highlighting could be true. He went on to tell them he had shown them what was behind this huge inflitration into Christianity and that now that we had been shown the truth, it was henceforth our choice to commit to the living God without compromise, or to be snared by the deceit of the coming 'order'.
You have done the same thing as this man by bringing up these links by others equally concerned and aware of the nefarious plans behind this 'angel of light', and it isn't surprising that even those who usually see the smoke screens, fail to see it in this 'noble and harmless' movie. But that's all to be expected. I commend you for your efforts and to the rest I say what is poignantly stated in the book of Revelation: He who has ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Thak you PVG, for the links. I apprecite it.
