Re: Oats?...and breakfast?

I too am looking for an alternative to oats and owndering if they are okay once or twice a week? I used to eat them every morning, but I am not sure they are the way to go anymore? I love protein and veggies but it doesn't feel balanced to give them up completely? I am having essene bread which feels very nutritious and was thinking about a protein shake but still deciding if soy powder is actually good for you (so much conflicting info out there) or shoudl I take whey even though it says it isn't good for me on the list? I was thinking of trying a tofu shake I found with rice milk, stevia and carob which sounds great but then it's the soy / tofu issue? All this seemingly good food with conflicitng information - is it just scare tactics? How did it get so complicated? I like to be informed, but am coming back to balance and listening to my body. Any people with any further on this - love to hear about it
