I too used to eat porridge most mornings, smothered with wheat germ, it was so comforting, I sometimes even had it again for lunch! I couldn't understand why I was so hungry later on in the day - you hear oats are supposed to fill you up etc. Not me, I couldn't get satisfied - since reading the Blood Type Diet I've figured out why. I now find a gluten-free muesli hits the spot, I put extra seeds in it, and have it with diluted coconut milk. I know coconuts are NOT on the ok list, but as long as I dont have it every day, it seams to be ok for me. This fills me up comfortably, without boating.
