please help! costochondritis + panic attacks

Hi,

I have been diagnosed with costochondritis after having multiple EKGs, chest Xrays, and also a stress test to rule out heart problems. I am a 16 year competitive swimmer and have NEVER had any health issues. I just wanted to know if anyone gets wierd attack things where it almost feels like your heart skips a beat and you get lightheaded? I also tense up all over. I am freaking out thinking it is a heart issue, but all the dr's even the cardiologist have ruled this out. If anyone can let me know if they are experiencing similar symptoms that would make me feel so much better! I have had this for about a month now and it is just consuming my life! Some days I feel great and others I dont leave the house. Any advice? I heat and ice but sometimes that upsets it more! I am taking 400mg of motrin 3 times a day as well. This is horrible!
