A Metal or Mental Disorder?
A friend of mine has been a strict raw food vegan for 20 years. She religiously sponsors raw food gatherings at her home every month and invites a health food speaker or natural healer to give a presentation. She is rigid in her belief that greens are the Answer. Wheat grass, kale shakes and parsley smoothies are the End All and Be All of everything a human body could ever need to create vitality and long life. She has gone to the special detox farms where all they give you is wheat grass implants and wheat grass is the Goddess of Rejuvenation. blah blah blah.
A couple of years ago she started to bleed heavily and had to wear a special girdle etc. She tried more wheat grass therapy to no avail. Finally she was diagnosed with stage three cancer and had her insides surgically removed. So what is wrong with this picture?
I have seen all too often in life experience and even right here inside the CureZone tales similar to this one. I hear them say 'I have been soooo good' 'I eat raw vegetables every day'. 'I have done multiple liver flushes'. 'I took all these fancy vitamins and herbs' etc etc. and yet they are still asking the same questions and they are still not entirely well.
Is part of it is because they are stuck in their minds? They wear the mask of a health crusader or spiritual yogi or that pure and simple soul. Often they are truly kind and good people. But in other cases looking a little deeper one can see they are stuck. Stuck in a rigid belief system.
Something happens when we become an idologue. My friend is a crusader and will not accept any opposing position. Her brain is lateralized to an extreme. She is highly intolerant to other viewpoints and will not consider other positions as being in any way relevant. She is determined and focussed but nevertheless stuck. She has many 'anti' positions. She firmly believes that humans are destroying the world and blames them for global warming.
This is an anti-human position. Blaming the humans. Linda McCartney died of cancer and she was a staunch crusader for animal rights. Another friend of mine died of cancer and she only gave her dogs vegetables to eat. Is being extremely pro-animals a form of being anti-human? Anti-human implies anti-self also. Is cancer a form of anti-self? Where the body consumes itself? Eats itself? Maybe.
It is the extremist that will not listen or be open to other possiblities and will not bend with the wind. They cannot be flexible nor adapt. Often there is a smugness or holier-than-thou attitiude. The mind has a hidden infection. It lacks self awareness for it assumes a state of grandiosity and has enthroned itself in its certitude. It no longer accepts healthy feedback. It cannot listen to new ideas or thoughts. Does cancer in the body start in the mind first? Is it a reflection of rigid thinking and concretized positions? Maybe.
Look how lateralized and extreme our society has become. Intolerance is rampant. Disagreement is dealt with by rage. Rigidity is rampant. Dialogue succumbs and is sacrificed by death threats. There is no middle ground. I believe our problems stem from our toxic environment. Plants and fruits are sprayed with chemicals particularly heavy metals. It's in our teeth, our pools, our air, our foods. Everything is basically contaminated and it is leaching into our consciousness. Our beliefs. And it is reinforcing things which is a basic quality of metal. It does not give in. It is intolerant. And unforgiving. Just like metal.
So does cancer begin in the mind? Do all health conditions hide in the mind first and then reflex into the body? Smugness and self satisfaction imply stagnation. Certitude and intolerance imply rigidity. Indignation that their views are not accepted as being absolute implies arrogance. Is cancer a wake up call to the unhealthy attitudes of the mind? Is it a lesson of some sort? Or is it more about the environment and our self inflicted Death Urge?
My friend lays in bed with low energy. She muses on Checking Out. Maybe its too hard to face oneself. To reflect on the self. Whenever I see this kind of rigidity I ALWAYS suspect metals poisoning. Why? Metals are hard. They do not bend. They are rigid. They are very difficult to expel. They are anti-flesh. Anti-human. I know my friend tests very high for cadmium. I told her that no way that wheat grass would remove that from her flesh. She does not listen. Is it mental or is it metals? I don't know. I remain on my quest searching as we all do here at our beloved CureZone and so will continue to ponder.
