Re: Dry fast

ikota, I would like more information on dry fasting. I have never studied it and I am not sure how I feel about it. It sounds dangerous.

According to Herbert Shelton , "Voluntary or involuntary the faster must have water." He conducted fasts for 45 years.

According to Dr. Joel Fuhrman, "One quart of water per day is usually sufficient for most individuals, but some need to be encouraged to drink two or more quarts, depending on their laboratory parameters."

Also, vomiting and nausea during a fast are caused by dehydration. I have experienced vomiting while water fasting. I was told by a doctor that I was dehydrated. I have also went through periods where I do not want to drink water while fasting.

I am going to be starting a Water Fast this Saturday.

How is your lung cancer?

If you fast, water or dry, I will look forward to reading your posts!

Wishing you abundant health...
