Re: Spread the word About what this guy really stands for

I don't think you understood what I was saying.

Yes I totally agree that 911 was an inside job. But I wasn't talking about 911 in this particular post

Yes it would be great to get rid of the Federal Reserve. I would like to know how he intends to accomplish this - I haven't listened to all his speeches but in the ones I have heard I didn't hear him say how he was going to do it. Just that he is and everyone is going yeah! great!

My difficulty with Ron Paul is that he is a libertarian free market capitalist who thinks, like so many Americans do, that we are better off letting the market run everything. I disagree and I think that we need to take our government back from the people who wnt it that way so that they ca have free reign to do whatever they want.

Speaking of food you might want to check out this video to see what the libertarian lobbyists have been up to for the past 30 years.

I am not fond of the IRS. I would not, however mind paying my fair share of taxes if I had some say in what they were spent on. As it is now we need a great deal of reform. I would like my tax dollars to be spent on things that are for the well being of everyone - as it is they are being ripped off to pay for illegal and immoral warfare and given out to the so called defense industry and companies like Black water and Halliburton in the form of no-bid contracts. How does this happen? Because we allow it to by letting these people take over our government. We allow big money to lobby our congress. We don't have the big $$$$ to go out there and lobby them. And we cannot even protest anymore - they either ignore us or attack us with military like riot squads and rubber bullets.

WE are supposed to be our own government but we are not are we? It has been stolen out from under us by private banks and private companies who have PERSONHOOD. - it is not government that is bad it is the people who have corrupted it.

I do not want a world that is totally privatized and where corporations have free reign to do whatever they want and we wind up getting screwed. I have listened to some of his speeches and from what he says I don't think he should mind the federal reserve being private because he is in favor of privatizing everything.

Did you actually read what I wrote - I don't think you did. Did you read what I said about developers all of whome are quite happy to have no restrictions on their behavior.

I never said one word about the world trade center. Is Ron Paul interested in having any investigations on the subject? I'm curious to know what he thinks - does he agree that it was a demolition? I do. I AGREE WITH YOU.....

Also I am not a Dummy - I think it is pretty nasty of you to call me a name like that - it must be your dark side. A person cannot disagree with you without being a dummy? Someone posted a message saying vote for Ron Paul - I say why should I? I like Dennis Kucinich a whole lot better. I am not into the libertarian rhetoric - I find it simplistic and it seems to appeal to the less noble aspects of the American personality.

I agree with him on a lot of things - I want the patriot act repealed and Habeus Corpus restored and I want all of our freedoms returned to us.

Actually, I would applaud him if he could get rid of the entire executive branch of the government along with the IRS and the federal reserve. But of course he would have to toss himself out on his arse as soon as he gets into office. LOL I think the executive branch is useless, dangerous and undemocratic. I would rather pay all my taxes to my local government and make sure that we have really excellent schools that meet our community expectations and where we pay USEFUL people like teachers an excellent salary to do an excellent job. I would like to spend tax dollars on creating community gardens everywhere instead of wasting our resources on lawns.

Oh anyway - we have a different perspective - I'm a pinko commie girl and you are a libertarian - too bad we can't talk to each other without calling names isn't it - You may have something to teach me and I may even have something to teach you if we could exchange ideas instead of insults...

You need to do some studying in my opinion... You have typical simplistic libertarian thinking.
