Guys/girls I need some help on this one please!
Basically, I'm concerned about potential low GH - I had a suspected concussion in July 2015 from thai boxing and have a history of head trauma (accidents and fighting/martial arts) since 12 years old. I've been symptomatic with some symptoms related to low GH since Autumn 2016.
I got a private GH blood test (fasted 9am) in 2015 of 0.1 ug/l (with lab comments this could be low or normal) - cue 2.5 years of banging on NHS doors/deaf ears, they eventually agreed to look into this the other week. I questioned my GP if this would need to be a stimulation test (to avoid 'false positives' from random sampling), she "didnt know" (or care) and strongly made the point several times that if everything came back in range, the NHS will not be conducting any further hormone tests on my behalf because of various bloods I've had them do to try get to the bottom of my symptoms.
The NHS sample was a single blood draw (again fasted 9am), which returned the exact same value of 0.1 and the NHS lab reported this as 'normal' as it falls within the reference range of <3 ug/l for males.
This tells me several things:
The NHS are generally useless with anything more complex than broken bones, blood pressure and stitches
While 2 GH levels of 0.1 ug/l at 2.5 years apart under v similar conditions indicates consistency, it equally indicates 9am random sampling is unsuitable timing for me personally; as these levels may be normal basal or I am actually deficient
I'm going to need to get a second opinion, probably private endo who hopefully refers me back into the NHS, where I get the GH stimulation test done to finally resolve this ongoing uncertainty.
My question:
Several research papers report that taking 1.2 g of l-arginine with 1.2g l-lysine is observed to increase GH (8 x normal), spiking around 60-90 minutes afterwards... you can probably see where I'm going with this - I am planning on doing another private GH single blood draw (12 hrs fasted) and use the above aminos at the appropriate time before the blood draw, which results in a blood sample taken at somewhere around the peak (a DIY stimulation test).
Will this work?
Will the above aminos pass through the gut into the bloodstream reliably without too much absorption, or are there better non-injectables out there to stimulate GH for testing purposes?
And based on point 2 above, do the doses/timings look right?

I too heard about arginine, etc being involved in natural production of GH.
Why are you so concerned about GH?
If you are submitting to brain injuries I suspect you have much bigger problems than just GH.

Is suicide the only way to beat pinworm ??!
I have been reason for months and messaging people begging to know if and how they have beaten pinworm. I'm so desperate because alinia, doxi, albenza, vermox, turpentine, nicotine, pyrantel, moxi, iver, prazi, wazine, fenbendazole,and oxibendazole and even monepantel order for a small fortune from aus for long periods of time at high doses has not worked at all. Not to mention enamas and garlic cloves in the rectum, changing diet, and taking all the herbs, and cleaning like a nut. My whole family is still suffering. I'm really ready to give up in the worst way. I have gotten messages in my inbox saying "don't give up" which is so nice but don't give up on what?? What do I continue to try? No one ever gets rid of these. I think I've read maybe two or three people that said they have beaten a resistant case and one wasn't even sure they had pinworm. I've done ALL of icu's protocols. I've never slacked off. I don't really know why I am writing this I guess I am just venting because no one has any clue how to cure these. My baby and 3 year old are suffering so badly. I just want to give them simple pleasures like a big warm comforter at night instead of a throw blanket because it's easier to wash everyday. It's so frustrating to see trolls like the lady who says " just put noxema on 24/7." I think I'm about to send my kids to their grandparents ( not that they would want to take them because they have pinworms!) and just kill myself-

Well don't off yourself, some of us have worms living in our heads! I think I'd rather trade you my infection for yours if I could. I have a mixed tape, Ascaris infection that I've been fighting since the beginning of the year. The protocols have not cured me but they lessened my load and I might have died from this without them.
Don't commit suicide there's always hope that things will get better and you and your family will be cured. Never give up hope or give in to this infliction. I don't know if you have followed cimbers postings but she has or had been dealing with pinwoms and has a lot of good advice. It's okay to vent.

They are very hard to get rid of. It took me a little over a year of constant fighting them to be clear of them and I live in constant fear of getting reinfected. I found that with mine their life ....
They are very hard to get rid of. It took me a little over a year of constant fighting them to be clear of them and I live in constant fear of getting reinfected. I found that with mine their life cycle was much shorter than they say not 6 to 9 weeks but closer to 3 weeks, I took the rounds of meds then when i knocked the population way down I started to take pyrantel twice a week and fenbendazole once a month for 3 days. Maybe you can try pulsing the medications every couple of days. I also took 9 weeks of tetracycline. Doxycycline is the best option but I couldnt afford it. Tetracycline works too. Take it while you are taking at least two other anti worm meds at the same time. The combo is what kicks their butts. For the kids combine pyrantel and alinia and the doxyxycline. Enemas when you feel them are a great help.-
