Perhaps he should also think about cleaning his pillow often soak it in bleach for a long time and boil it in water. They can be hiding in there depending on the type of parasite. The pillow will not look so good after a few washes so then just buy a new cheap one. Same thing with other bedsheets although not as important in his case. I don´t think we have exactely the same thing although the "sensations" are the same. This might not help but it has helped me.

I was just about to open a post on the subject. I have 'em [demodex mites]and it's worst than you would think. They carry fungal spores, mycobacteria, anaerobic bacteria and virusus.
Not to mention the fact they are a problem all on their own by frigg'in up your immune-cells, which they can penetrate. Plus they have antigens which give you allergies.

I am trying an aggressive approach; I am using tar shampoo {which has very strong smell unfortunately} I can feel little digging sensations in my scalp after using it, so it did not kill 'em yet. I surmise it will take a lot of work to get rid of these.
I have had the opportunity to observe them under the microscope and the ones I have seen, look different than the typical human strain. I wonder if these are a cross-species from a pet I once had which died of a "skin disorder". It was a ferret. Anyway, this is not suppose to happen, but maybe it was never observed---and the ferret may have had a highly pathogenic strain and made the cross. [hypothetical]

I am just wondering if these things are the primary cause of my over-all symptoms.

is it mites, or perhaps morgellons? this sounds quite similar to morgellons....he could try peppermint essential oil on the lesions, if it's morgellons. It may take them down quite a bit, but they'll resurface again...with morgellons, they keep coming back.

Demodex Solutions (http://www.demodexsolutions.com) has a shampoo that works great. I think the main ingredient is metranidazole. Coating your scalp with vasoline or cold cream gets rid of them too, but then you have to deal with greasy hair, but you can wear a rag on your head.

It takes a long time to get rid of demodex colonies. I had to treat the mites on my face for eight months before my face cleared and it was over a year before they finally stopped trying to come back. I haven't had a pimple in several months now. I use Ponds cold cream. They hate it. I've put it on my scalp too when it feels itchy. It works.

I'm starting to wonder if I have dermodex mites. My eyelashes itch constantly, as do my eyebrows. I am not prone to Acne in general, but I find I get sore weals on my cheeks. The skin on my face itches. My scalp itches, but though I get checked for head lice often (I'm a touch paranoid I guess) I never get any signs of them.

I have a friend who sells Beauty Control products. I bought the green tea thermal masque goo from her, it's a facial treatment. I used it rarely (I'm really not a "product" person), but once took it with me on a week-long stay over at my dad's. I used it every day, and something strange happened. The itch on my face cleared up. The little bit of Acne I had cleared up. My skin was so clear and undamaged that I nearly looked like a new person. Perhaps there's something in this stuff (maybe the tea?) that kills or discourages whatever is causing my itch. I'm wondering if I can use it as a scalp treatment - it's clayey rather than greasy so I wouldn't need to worry about looking like a lounge lizard.

I came in to this chat room to help others who have been struggling with the same thing I have been struggling with PARASITES. THIS IS A LOT OF INFO I HAVE SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME.....

With much research on the topic on my end; I have figured out how to pretty much kill them. It has been slow going, but none the less it has worked for me.

I first decided in order to kill off this enemy (after I discovered I had parasites) I needed to learn everything I could about them. I felt by doing this I could better understand how to kill them. This paid off.

I would like to first say I AM NOT A MEDICAL DOCTOR. This is just what worked for me.

The first thing you need to know is how parasites can go unnoticed in your body with out alarming your immune system they are present. Even in an extremely healthy person; parasites will take hold. They do this by basically sending blockers to your immune system; telling your immune system they are suppose to be there; or telling your immune system they're not there all together. Either way its really based on how you look at it. Once parasites take hold it spreads rapidly. All the while your immune system passes it by.

So ideally what would be the 1st action to take? Find something that will hinder the parasites from fooling your immune system. For me Sovereign Silver did the trick. It alarmed my immune system the parasites were there by hindering them from faking out my immune system. It blocked their blockers so to speak. Not only did my immune system start to fight back, but this helped build my immune system back up. I took Sovereign Silver 5 times a day.

The next thing I discovered helped A LOT & boy do parasites hate this more than any thing; I started using Apple Cider Vinegar. Now please use this in extreme caution. The reason I say this is because I read of a gentleman who gave him self a enema using Apple Cider Vinegar. This was a very bad move on his part. It caused the parasite to scatter to other parts of his body; including his head (parasites scattering to other parts of my body is something I have battled with myself trust me its not fun).

You have to take in internally. In pill form if you can't handle the liquid from. Particularly organic apple cider vinegar. The reason being organic is if you do research on apples in general they absorb a lot of basically anything good or bad. Try to be careful of using ACV on the outside of your body for parasites as well. I did this on my neck after I had what looked like a ringworm forming. It killed the rash, but before it killed it I broke out in to a different kind of rash. The rash went away after a few days, but it was painful (please keep in mind I have taken ACV before for other ailments & NEVER had a reaction to it this way). So basically the pills will give you all the benefits of ACV with out the harshness it can bring.

Next thing I did I used a parasite cleanse. Called " parasite Cleanse". It had all the herbs contained in it that work to kill parasites. Wormwood , Pumpkin Seed, Walnut, just to name a few.

I also took coconut oil in pill form, & Oregano Oil in pill form (which is one of natures strongest Antibiotics , but with out the nasty side affects western med Antibiotics seem to give you when taken). I did all of this 3 times a day.

Another thing that I noticed when I started my battle with parasites; is how many people claimed to use this or that with no results. The one thing they all had in common was they were only taking these things (what ever it may be) for the time that was recommend on the back of the bottles. Doing this will not help you. I had to take all of the things I stated earlier for OVER A YEAR.

Keep in mind that once parasites take hold of your body they won't give up easily. You have to hit them hard, consistently, & for a LONG LONG time. If you do this (as tiring as it may be) it will work.

Next thing I want to touch basis on is parasites under the scalp. I also read of a gentleman that seemed to have a very bad case of parasites though out his entire body including under his scalp. He listed the things that seemed to help him. One of those things I want to clarify on here especially for us women. Was he claimed once you get parasites under your scalp it is best to just shave your hair down. He directed this even to the women. I understand where his theory was coming from. The problem is though it might help SOME what to do this. Over all it won't be worth it.

I had a very bad infestation under my scalp. I could feel this very thick width/length sized bump on the very top of my head; underneath my scalp. It hurt to touch it. I searched & searched to rid this from my scalp. Nothing seemed to help. Until I tried Oregano Oil in my hair. I would put as much as I could bare all over my scalp and in my hair. Instantly I could feel the creepy crawling under my scalp. The next morning my bump was 75% smaller. I did this many nights while going to sleep. It worked. I also used this under my eye one day when my eye got swollen from what I figured was the parasites trying to escape my body from all that I was doing to them. I put the oregano oil under my eye (on the outside of my eye not inside) & in 3 days my eye was no longer swollen.

So here is a list of everything I have done. Let me tell you I feel a whole lot better. from doing this.

1. Sovereign Silver 5 times a day
2. Oregano Oil pill form (twice a day 2 pills @ night 2 pills in morning)
3. Coconut oil pill form (twice a day 1 pill @ night 1 pill in morning)
4. Parasite Cleanse pill form (3 times a day 2 pills @ night, 2 pills @ afternoon, 2 pills @ morning)
5. Apple Cider Vinegar pill form (3 times a day 2 pills morning, afternoon, night)
6. Oregano Oil in hair for parasites under scalp EVERY NIGHT (it stinks to no end but it works. Wash out in morning)

I hope this helps as well as gives some hope to those of you who have none. I know there are going to be people who will argue what I have listed here. Keep in mind everyone is different. So some might not be able to stomach some of the things I did here. Or some it may not work. I'm not trying to claim it will work for everyone. I do know out of most people I have spoke to regarding parasites; I have been the closest in getting rid of them. I have had something under my scalp and back since returning from Mexico. It then scattered all over and I ended up with serious abdominal pain. Apple Cider Vinegar, peppermint shampoo, etc didn't help because it is under my skin. I ordered a bunch of parasite medications online to resolve and nothing has cured this. I tried taking Ivermectin and Albendazone since they are supposed to help with subcutaneous parasites but that didn't help much. It should have cured many of the skin roundworm types like Strongyloides. I then tried Praziquantal which should have helped Tapeworm problems, thing seemed better but still no resolution on the problem under my scalp and in my face, and all over in skin or blood vessels.
I also kept complaining to my doctor about abdominal pain till I got a colonscapy. This cured my abdominal pain and my skin irritation was a bit better but not fully resolved.
Things that help temporarily are eye drops to keep the eyes from being so irritated. Also Systant nighttime for your eyes at night ( I got this at Walgreens) but use it sparingly for sleeping only cause you can't see with this vasoline type stuff in your eyes. To keep the irritation off your feminine area, use sulphur between the folds. It will dry out your skin so use it sparingly. Also do not use coconut oil on your skin, I have read that this keeps parasites away but it caused me to break out into a terrible rash.
(If you have an external skin irritation, read about scabies - best cure is Ivermectin)
One thing I haven't treated yet is protozoa and the challenge there is there are so many different drugs to kill them.
It is too bad I can't find the answers on this forum and the doctors are so unwilling to help. I sure need help with as distributed as my problem is and my concern for it being in my face and eyes and scalp and neck and gums and lips. It makes me really nervous that it is under my skull as well :{

Hookworm could be it. Many people get parasite like worms not just from being barefoot but also just by chance. Dogs that play outside in dirt visited by cats can carry the hookworm or cats... Its not impossible for the human scalp to become infected. Skip the ER or dermatologist they will not put two and two together. Have a primary doc or urgent care prescribe antiparasitic med and useit get more if needed...use hydrogen peroxide in a small spray bottle and yup Borax diluted 1 to 3 of watermixed with the best drying shampoo you can find like T Gel or Dandruff shampoo, selsum blue. Wash the hair and scalp 1,2,3 4 times daily if needed. Use a small scrub brush to lightly scrub the scalp and Yes...the hottest hot water you can take but not hot enough to burn. Shower after washing the hair. Spray peroxide on the body then use diluted borax yup .and use a body scrub brush (scrub every inch of the body) use a simple body wash or baby shampoo to wash along with the borax use hot water to rinse... Wash clothes, towels, bedding in hot water with 1/2 cup borax and 1/2 cup laundry soap. Wipe and clean bathroom with lots of paper towels using borax. Use borax and vinegar outside where any cats have been. Wear shoes all the time and eat and drink only foods/drinks that parasites/worms hate. Like spicy foods, pineapple, coconut, papaya, pumpkin seeds, look up other foods. Eat 4 smashed whole garlic every 3 days and dont drink alot of water. You want their environment to be unappealing. Keep this up for as long as you have to. The medical field is in denial that many scalp infections like dandruff or folliculitis are actually parasites! Do not lose your mind and do not let anyone say you are nuts. The problem you have is real. The creatures in your scalp are real and they will die if you keep killing them.
