Thank you for sharing your experiences. It is comforting to know there are scientific minds working on these kinds of things.
I've learned how to beat the buggers into submission, but they always seem to come back in a month or two if I let up for very long. I keep hoping that I can help my immune system kick in and prevent them from recolonizing, once I can figure out how to give my body the nutrients it needs to function the way God intended.
Question is, what nutrients do I need? For me it has been a trial an error process to figure that out, and sometimes the amount I need to take changes after a while.
I am very grateful to Newport for telling me about the
Iodine Forum, as taking it seems to have helped me reached another plateau of wellness. Apparently I wasn't getting enough vitamin C, salt and selenium either. Now that I've made those adjustments, I don't need to continuously bombard my system with mega doses of probiotics and enzymes. A small amount of them works just fine.
The
parasites hate the iodine. I'm sure of it. I heard a voice that said "No more minerals!" I'm having mild hot flashes and rashes. I can feel my skin crawl and the pinworms are biting me harder than ever. This may sound horrible, but I can feel the difference between disease progression and disease die off.
This feels like die off to me. Die off, in my case, it strong and dramatic, but it doesn't last very long, and when it's over, I feel a lot better. Disease progression is slow and steady, leads to long term misery, and eventually become disabling.
I noticed my urine smelling funky when I first took the iodine, so I am pretty sure it was cleaning out some kind of gunk that shouldn't have been in me. The thing that continues to puzzle me is the apparent sodium imbalance that I am dealing with. I will inquire about this in another thread.
